The starting point

You are not
starting from zero.

Discipline. Judgement. The ability to bring a team together. The qualities you build in sport belong in your next career, too.

Springboard 2 connects women athletes and women sports professionals with the knowledge, mentoring and networks to explore sports technology. Our research starts with the barriers women describe, and our curriculum responds to them.

01Education & skills

Learn with purpose.

Translate your sporting experience into the language of business, technology and leadership.

The published curriculum sets out eight modules, with practical exercises, workshop designs and country adaptations. Training materials are developed further through programme delivery.

02Mentoring & networks

Connect with perspective.

Explore the next step with people who understand the transition and the sports tech ecosystem.

Mentoring and role-model learning sit alongside the curriculum. The partnership brings together experience in sport, research, business development and women’s professional networks.

03Opportunity & inclusion

Build your next chapter.

Develop the confidence, skills and connections to make informed career choices.

Springboard 2 supports women athletes and women sports professionals aged 24 to 35. Participation opportunities and delivery arrangements are confirmed by the project team.
